DESCRIPTION:The Centralia Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Anchor Festival Fun Run is BACK for the second year in a row. This 1-mile race will double as a fundraiser for the Outdoor Classroom at Centralia Intermediate School. We could not pull this off without the support of Griffin Anderson – Iron Gate Real Estate\, Gooding Rentals\, and the Centralia Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  \nDue to a generous sponsorship from Gooding Rentals\, we have a limited supply of free t-shirts for participants\, making our cost to participate lower. We cannot thank Gooding Rentals enough for their support! \nDETAILS:\nSaturday\, May 30th\nCheck-In at 7:15 AM in Downtown (more information coming soon)\nRace Starts at 8:00 AM (more information coming soon) \nCOST:\n$5 for Children (through high school)\n$10 for Adults\nAll money will go directly to helping the CIS Outdoor Classroom. There will also be a donation box the day of the event for those that wish to help further. \nRegister here! \nNOTE: While there are currently not age divisions\, our goal is to explore that opportunity in the future if there is significant interest.

Enjoy a magical evening of dancing\, light refreshments\, games\, and crafts in the enchanted Spirit Hall. \nMake sure to bring your dancing shoes so you’re ready to learn how to waltz around the ballroom! Ms. Karisha will be instructing on some simple ballroom dancing as well as a fun line dance or two. When you get thirsty from all the dancing\, head over to our special bar area where The Hometown Shoppe will have some specialty refreshers for you to purchase! Then put your best smiles on and get a professional photo taken by Photography by DeWeese. \nAdvanced tickets are required and space is limited. Cost for tickets is $45/couple ($10 for each additional sibling/attendee) and includes admission\, a full-sized custom treat from Sweet Alchemy Bakery\, a craft to make and take home\, and a professional 5×7 photo from Photography by DeWeese. Tickets are available for purchase at Mid Mo Kats Studio and The Hometown Shoppe. \nThis studio campaign event will help to raise funds for studio improvements\, dance equipment\, special events for dancers\, etc.

Fencing will be in place for safety\, but a photo-op area will allow families to capture holiday memories up close. \nBe sure to check out all the participating food vendors (listed below) at the parade\, and don’t forget to shop local at one of our charming downtown shops or restaurants while you’re in the festive spirit! \nWe want everyone to have a magical and safe evening. Please stay completely out of the way of tractors and remain behind all barricades. They’re there for the safety of you and your children. Sharon Koontz with Color Me Bleu will guide you and all supplies are provided.  \n11″x14″ stretched canvas and all supplies provided (aprons too!)\nUpgrade your canvas size to 16″x20″ for $6 more\nDesign is pre-sketched on your canvas (let us know if you prefer blank!)\nApproximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours of paint time\nClasses are designed for 12 and up\nConsider wearing older clothes – paint can be messy!\nYou are welcome to BYO-beverage \nClass will be held inside our gift shop\, unless we have a gloriously warm December Saturday (it happens!)\, and if so\, we’ll move out to the lavender drying room where you’ll be surrounded by thousands of bundles of lavender from this year’s harvest! \nPlease note: Our instructor-led classes are subject to class size minimums. If we cancel a class\, we’ll refund you in full or we can help you choose another comparable class offering if you prefer. Tickets are refundable for any reason with at least a 3 day notice before the date of the class.
