SUMMARY:Battlefield Lavender: Floral Arranging Class with Blooms and Wishes Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the art of floral design in this delightful 1-1/2 hour session! At our engaging and interactive class with Blooms and Wishes Flowers\, you’ll receive all the supplies you need to create a beautiful arrangement using florals from both Blooms and Wishes and lavender from Battlefield Lavender! \nColors and flowers will vary from the picture as you will be able to select flowers based on your preferences.  \nClass is planned to be held at our crafting table in our gift shop\, so class size is limited to 10. If we have unseasonably warm weather (70-degrees and up)\, we may shift the class to the lavender drying room. \n\n6-7 focal\, line and fill flowers\, stems of dried lavender and about 10 extra greens\nExpert guidance on the art of floral arranging\n32-ounce glass vessel\nRibbon accent\nApproximately one hour of arranging time\nClasses are designed for ages 7 and up\nYou are welcome to BYO-beverage!\n\nPlease note: Our instructor-led classes are subject to class size minimums. If we cancel a class\, we’ll refund you in full or we can help you choose another comparable class offering if you prefer. SUMMARY:Centralia Anchor Festival Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:The Centralia Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Anchor Festival Fun Run is BACK for the second year in a row. This 1-mile race will double as a fundraiser for the Outdoor Classroom at Centralia Intermediate School. We could not pull this off without the support of Griffin Anderson – Iron Gate Real Estate\, Gooding Rentals\, and the Centralia Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  \nDue to a generous sponsorship from Gooding Rentals\, we have a limited supply of free t-shirts for participants\, making our cost to participate lower. We cannot thank Gooding Rentals enough for their support! \nDETAILS:\nSaturday\, May 30th\nCheck-In at 7:15 AM in Downtown (more information coming soon)\nRace Starts at 8:00 AM (more information coming soon) \nCOST:\n$5 for Children (through high school)\n$10 for Adults\nAll money will go directly to helping the CIS Outdoor Classroom. There will also be a donation box the day of the event for those that wish to help further. \nRegister here! \nNOTE: While there are currently not age divisions\, our goal is to explore that opportunity in the future if there is significant interest.
